PMhealth Workshop–Psychometrics and Metrology in the Health Sciences 2025

The PMhealth Workshop 2025 will be participant driven. That is, it will be based on issues and discussion points attendees wish to address. All participants are therefore encouraged to present a question, discussion topic, current issue, or any other relevant subject they are working on, find significant, or believe may be of interest to others. We will plan the details together when we meet.

The detailed program will be determined on-site based on the topics proposed by the participants. Please note that PMhealth is not an "expert group" but welcomes contributions from both experienced professionals and beginners in the field.

The fundamental idea is that everyone can learn from everyone!

We therefore encourage all participants to bring ideas on what they would like to discuss. Those who propose contributions to the program are expected to present a brief background so that all participants are introduced to the topic. The format of the presentation is free, and PowerPoint or similar is not required. The presentation will be followed by (or integrated with) an open discussion, which will ideally move the topic forward and generate new knowledge for both the presenter and the audience. In general, the discussion part is expected to be the main focus. The time allocated for each session will be adjusted based on the number of discussion points and their content.

The workshop will be conducted in English.

Registration Fee

60 EURO, ex VAT. The fee includes fika in the morning and afternoon on both days.

Kristianstad University uses the event management tool Axaco.

Cancellations after May 18, 2025, are non-refundable.

Practical Information

How to get to Kristianstad University and navigate around Kristianstad:

The nearest major airport is Copenhagen Airport (CPH). Direct trains run between Copenhagen Airport and Kristianstad Central Station every hour. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Timetables and further details can be found on Öresundståg or Skånetrafiken. Tickets can be purchased from Skånetrafiken ticket machines in the arrival hall at Copenhagen Airport.

City bus number 4 (towards Lingenässkolan) runs from the central station to the university campus (get off at "Högskolan") and takes approximately 7 minutes. Tickets can be purchased by card on the bus. Walking from central Kristianstad to the university campus takes about 20 minutes.

Accommodation

Travel and accommodation are not included in the registration fee and must be arranged by participants themselves. These accommodations are recommended based on previous workshop experiences.
