Master programme in Business Administration specialising in Auditing and Control - 60 credits
This master's programme allows you to deepen your knowledge of auditing and control. The programme suits those who want to work with accounting, auditing and/or financial management in industry, government or other organizations.
The programme aims to give you the competencies and skills necessary for a competitive position in the labour market if you are aiming to become an accountant or auditor.
Key topics include advanced courses in accounting including IFRS, management control, auditing and corporate governance. In addition to this, the programme includes a course in customer orientation and value creation which is becoming essential also in the accounting/auditing industry.
Theory and practice
The courses are based on current research and practical case studies. This focus on both research and practice creates opportunities for you to work in both industry and academia.
As a graduate from our programme you will have a good insight into the regulatory framework governing the external reporting and auditing and the programme provides you with a good opportunity to work with financial reporting, consulting and auditing.
The programme emphasizes practice through course activities with corporate interaction combined with theoretical depth and includes work placement with a focus on sustainability, where learning is based on cooperation and integration with the business.
All courses in the programme are given in English. The programme is open to students from around the world, and courses have a diverse international participation of students. This international atmosphere contributes to a broad perspective of the issues discussed in class.
The studies are full-time for one year.
