Before completing your education

Here are some important things to keep in mind as you approach the end of your studies.

  • Are you missing credits from any course?
Check that all of your credits are shown in the National Student Records Database, Ladok, before applying for your degree. If you have not passed a course and need to repeat a component, send an email to student@hkr.se for guidance on how to proceed.
  • Apply for a degree or double degree
When all credits have been entered into Ladok, it is time to apply for a degree. If you are a degree programme student, check your curriculum to see which degree(s) you are entitled to apply for. Information about how to apply.
  • Download documents you wish to keep from your email account, Canvas and OneDrive
Your account at Kristianstad University will be closed 18 months after the last day of your course. You will then no longer have access to your material/documents, such as submitted material, paper and degree project.
  • Pass/HKR card
The card will be disabled three months after the last day of your course. To have it reactivated, you will need to be admitted to a new course or be re-registered to an uncompleted one.
  • Written exams
If you have any on-campus written exams that you have not picked up from reception, you can do so up to two years after the examination date. After that, they are removed and will no longer be accessible.
  • Funds in the print account
Any money in your print account will not be refunded – use it!
  • When you have finished your studies, you will be our alumna/alumnus
We would love to keep in touch with you! In order for you to be able to receive targeted information, it is important that you keep your email address up to date in Ladok. If you do not wish to be contacted, you can choose to remove your email address.
