Accessibility of www.hkr.se

This website is run by Kristianstad University. We want as many people as possible to be able to use the website. This page describes how the website complies with the accessibility regulations, any known accessibility issues, and how you can report problems so that we can fix them.

We know that some parts of this website are not fully accessible. See the section on non-accessible content below for more information.

Non accessible content

We are aware that parts of the website are not fully compliant with the Swedish accessibility regulations. If there is content that is not accessible for you, you are welcome to contact us at webb@hkr.se.

There are still a number of PDF documents on the website that are not sufficiently accessible, we are working to solve those problems during the autumn. The other non-accessible sections are listed below.

Issues with usage without vision

  • Some decorative images lack the correct alt tag.
  • There are some videos that lack alternatives.
  • Visual interpretation is lacking in most of our videos.
  • An input field lacks description on some pages.
  • The "Bold" tag is used to format text on some pages.
  • HTML is used to format the content associated with embedded videos.
  • On individual pages, Element ID is not unique.
  • On individual pages, the label is not connected to a form control.
  • Individual functions cannot be accessed via keyboards, however, the same information can be accessed elsewhere on the page.
  • There is currently no way to skip grouped content that reappears on multiple web pages.
  • On some pages, editorial work remains to clarify link texts.
  • Single component does not have sufficiently clear visual indication of keyboard focus.
  • The library's search function for Summon does not have a field label.

Our editors work continuously to improve the accessibility of the website. We aim to address the known technical accessibility problems during the autumn of 2020.
