Student union and associations
Kristianstad student union, KSK, represents the students in all decision-making and preparatory bodies within the university, which in some way have significance for education and the students' situation. There are also student associations, for those who study at Kristianstad University. The associations are run by students.
Kristianstad Student Union
Kristianstad student union exists with the goal to represent all students in decisional and preparational organizations within the university which in one way or another has an importance to the education and student’s situation. To make the most of a student’s experience and knowledge. A student is anyone that studies on a basic-, advanced or research level. Kristianstad student union also actively works for students rights and informs about duties, but also offers help and support in student judicial cases. Student judicial cases is when you run into any sort of problem that effects your education.

Its possible to engage yourself in the Kristianstad student union. This gives you as a student the possibility to affect your own education. You also have the opportunity to engage yourself in the different Student Associations within Kristianstad student union, with the goal of arranging social events for students. Kristianstad student union also works towards giving students an active and rewarding educational study time through study-oriented activities. This is done in part at beginning of each term as well as through our social outreach, Sexmästeriet.
Kristianstad student unions social club, Sexmästeriet, aims to create additional value for all students in Kristianstad University. By ”social” we imply activities that happen between students after and during their studies.
Kristianstad student union also work with the goal of lowering the threshold for a higher education through Unibuddy. The purpose of Unibuddy is to create a community and affinity within your class, but also to create a social and professional network with other students in the University. A Unibuddy is a seasoned student who acts as a supporting sponsor for a specific class for the first month of the term so that the students can ask question as well as provide the students with tips and tricks to make their education as smooth as possible.
