Escape the hustle and bustle of commuting and finding peace of mind to study. Bed & Study is a concept where the university, student council and the municipality together with several hotels in Kristianstad offer nice living at favourable student prices, and study quarters for free.

Bed and study offers 

A calm study environment:

Study in a nice and calm environment, completely free, at First Hotel Christian IV , Stadshotellet or Grand Hotel Kristianstad, in the middle of Kristianstad city. Around the clock at any time of the year, you have access to areas where you can study, do group projects, or just meet up with free access to WiFi and coffee/tea. The offer is valid both for commuting students and any of their non-commuting friends. No booking needed, first come first serve. 

The Hotel Night:

As a student at Kristianstad University you have the opportunity to stay in a Hotel at a reduced student price for shorter stays in connection to activities such as exams, or if you want to stay as a group while working on a project. Bookings are made by emailing the hotels at the addresses shown below and will be available for the whole of 2026. 

While apartment hunting:

At the start of the semester students are offered a chance to stay at Näsby gård while looking for an apartment. This will be at a very favourable price and will also include breakfast. The offer is subject to availability. Minimum stay: 5 nights. Booking is done by mailing Näsby Gård.

Prices for bookings with arrival date in 2026:

  • Home Hotel Christian IV: Single room 795 SEK, included breakfast. Double room add-on 200 SEK extra.
  • Stadshotellet: Single room (basic) 695 SEK, included breakfast. Single room (standard) 775 SEK inkluded breakfast. Double room 895 SEK included breakfast.  
  • ProfilHotels Grand Kristianstad

  • Hotel Park Allé: 20% student discount on regular prices, including breakfast.
  • Näsby Gård: Single room 695 SEK (minimum 2 nights) including a lighter breakfast. If just one night 795 SEK. Double room add-on 150 SEK extra.
