Karin Höijer - Teaching and supervision
I teach in different areas within the Home and Consumer Studies courses for teacher students, research methods in the Gastronomy program and also supervise students writing their thesis.
My special interests concern basic questions of what Home and Consumer Studies is, food culture, the importance of space and place for teaching, theories within the social and educational sciences and qualitative research methods, especially with children.
