Erasmus

 

The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities which a higher education institution may carry out within Erasmus+.

The Erasmus program has been around since 1987 and lasts in cycles of seven years with a dedicated budget. The framework program, Erasmus+ program period 2021-2027, contains both mobility and project collaborations.

The keywords for the new framework program are:

  • Inclusion
  • Flexibility
  • Simplification
  • Digitisation
  • Sustainability

As an umbrella over these there is the word quality, which should permeate all parts.
