“The programme felt like the right choice for me”

Why did you choose the programme?

– I have a strong interest in international business and wanted to deepen my knowledge of marketing, which were the main reasons I chose the programme. In today's global and competitive job market, specialist knowledge can be an advantage, which made the programme even more appealing to me.

I have also always been interested in international environments where people from different parts of the world come together. That is why an international programme felt like the right choice for me.

Why did you choose to study at Kristianstad University?

– I completed my bachelor's degree in business administration here and had a very positive experience of the university. What I appreciated most was the close contact with the teachers. They are committed and encourage dialogue and discussion in the classroom.

What was the best part of the programme?

– I made friends from all over the world and grew a lot as a person. One course that really stood out was the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) course, where we had the opportunity to work with a company and put what we had learnt into practice.

I also really enjoyed working in groups with students from several different countries. It was both rewarding and a lot of fun, not least all the time we spent together outside our studies.

What do you do today?

– I work as a Key Account Manager at the IT consultancy company Consid. In my role, I am responsible for managing and developing relationships with some of Consid's key clients. The best part of my job is working in an exciting and innovative industry where I can make real use of what I learnt during the programme.

What advice would you give to someone considering the master's programme?

– Take the opportunity and apply! I am so glad I did.
