Pan-European duck symposium 2025
The 7th Pan-European duck symposium (PEDS7) will be held in the city of Kristianstad in southern Sweden 18–22 August 2025. The city is located in a wetland area and is therefore an ideal place to host this conference on ducks. We are looking forward to seeing you in Sweden in 2025!

Information about presentations and abstract submission
Conference delegates are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Abstracts are submitted no later than May 15. If multiple abstracts are being submitted, a separate form must be completed for each submission. Abstracts not accepted for oral presentations will automatically be considered for poster presentations. The scientific committee will review all submissions and notify presenters of their decisions by June 15.
This symposium usually attracts duck researchers from Europe and beyond, as well as conservationists and wildfowl managers interested in the most recent developments in the field.

Where
The town of Kristianstad is a regional center with a population of around 40 000 people within the town limits. It is surrounded by sandy agricultural lands and biologically diverse wetlands.
The conference will be held at Kristianstad University campus, which is a 25 min walk, or a seven minute bus ride from the train station (northbound line 4 towards "Lingenässkolan via Högskolan Kristianstad", payment by credit card when boarding).
