Man–Health–Society (MHS)
The participants in the research group Man Health Society (M-H-S) share a research interest in human health and well-being as well as the challenges associated with ill health, disease and dying. The research within the group is often conducted close to organisations and with methodological variation. The concepts of person-centredness, empowerment and participation are key elements in the research.
The research is conducted with focus on various target groups and thus also implemented in collaboration with different types of settings, such as working life, health and medical care, health and social care, schools as well as sports settings and other organisations in the non-profit sector. The research environment is interdisciplinary and so are also several of the research projects conducted within the framework of the research group.
