Application and admission for exchange students
Here you will find information about the application procedure for exchange students (only for students from partner institutions). Please, read it carefully. If you have some doubts, do not hesitate to contact us at intstud@hkr.se
If you want to apply at Kristianstad University as an exchange student, you should contact the international office at your home university.
When you have been nominated and selected by your university to study with us, you need to fill in our application on-line which is available on the link below:

Follow 7 steps to apply
- Application on-line
- Upload a passport photo
- Choose your courses and print the form
- Upload the signed form and transcript of records (in English)
- Print your admission letter (NB! apply for Residence Permit for students)
- Fill in the online accommodation form
- Fill in when you will arrive to Kristianstad

Notice our deadlines (before the deadline you should have finished step 4):
Autumn semester: April 15
Spring semester: October 15
The application form will only be processed when filled in completely and correctly.
NB! Late applications will only be considered if nominated by partner university before deadline.
The letter of acceptance (or refusal) will be sent by post to students outside the European Union latest on 1st of December (1st of June for autumn semester).
