Reference management tools
Simplify your research or your studies using a reference management tool such as EndNote.
Managing references with EndNote
To be able to handle references in an efficient manner in your research work, a reference management tool can be used. Using such a tool, you collect your references in a separate reference library. When you write documents, such as a journal article or a thesis, you collect and paste the references by using certain commands in Word.
It is also possible to easily format the references in a document according to different reference systems, such as APA, Harvard, Vancouver or according to the instructions of a particular journal. There are both licensed and free programs to use. One of the most common licensed programs is EndNote.
