Policy on support and accessibility
Kristianstad University aims to provide accessibility to premises, studies and examinations for people with disabilities or learning difficulties, such as dyslexia. Our policy on support is based on Sweden's discrimination act (SFS 2008:567) which stipulates that it is prohibited to discriminate against at student or an applicant on basis of disability.
What is a disability?
Disability is defined in the Discrimination Act (SFS 20008:567) as a permanent physical, mental or intellectual limitation of a person's functional capacity that as consequence of injury or illness existed at birth, has arisen since then or can be expected to arise.
