With a bachelor's degree in marketing and a background in digital marketing analysis, Alexandra wanted to continue on her path into a new area. International business was new and exciting for her, and the one-year master programme in Kristianstad caught her interest. Meet our alumni Alexandra Vancic from Austria!
The decision to study in Kristianstad and Sweden was an easy one for John. Reflecting on his time at Kristianstad University, he highlights the blend of practical work with various projects.– The Work Integrated Learning was very exciting. It allowed us to apply and test our knowledge with a real company.
– I didn't have any experience from sustainability before. I just presumed that it was equal to environment. But this programme actually opened my eyes. Now I know that sustainability can be used on a huge scale and that it's connected to everything we do.
Friendly people and breath-taking landscapes – that were the two things Karyn Hyde-Cooper noticed when she first got to Sweden. But after a year at the Master programme, specializing in International Business and Marketing, she can add a lot of other things to the list.
He was born in Nepal, lives and works in Norway, and now studies in Sweden. Being a food chemist with a bachelor’s degree in food technology, Nawaraj Gautam is now digging deeper into food and meal science through distance learning.“This master’s degree has helped me think in a new way and tackle problems from other perspectives. It will certainly open up new career opportunities for me.”
She had been working as a dietitian in a tertiary public hospital for her entire career and was eager to further her skills in public health. Working part-time and living on the other side of the planet, were no problems, since she studied the Master Program in Food and Meal Science at Kristianstad University by distance.
