Collaboration on health and care services

At Kristianstad University we believe in integrating our researchers and students with the health care sector. Our resources are invaluable when shaping the future of health and care services. Find out more about collaborating with our different health and service projects below.

Collaborating with a student

If you offer a student the opportunity to conduct their placement or degree project with you, their knowledge and skills can contribute to the growth of your organisation as well. What better way to cover your future recruitment needs than to collaborate with our students while they are still in school?

Skills development

Kristianstad University can offer trainings, projects and seminars at the academic level for businesses and organisations, as well as local and national agencies of government.

Collaborating with our researchers

The expertise and skills acquired by our researchers represent one cornerstone of our collaboration effort. The various research settings that focus on cultivating and disseminating knowledge about health and care allow you to partake of the benefits of the findings.

Clinical Assessment Research & Education (PRO-CARE)

The PRO-CARE research team conducts interdisciplinary studies that concentrate on nutrition and eating, outcomes research and neurology The objectives of PRO-CARE are to promote individualised care, facilitate patient safety efforts and raise awareness about the effects of disease and treatment.

Biomedicine

This research setting specialises in clinically relevant biomedicine. Research projects are conducted in collaboration with practising physicians to address problems in areas such as cancer, allergy, asthma and coagulation.

Health in Collaboration

This research platform is based on collaboration between Kristianstad University, the Skåne Region and six municipalities in the north-east part of the region. The effort proceeds from expanded collaboration among researchers, public agencies and stakeholders, increasing the likelihood that research findings will benefit clinical practice.

Man - Health - Society

The interdisciplinary theme of People, Health and Society focuses on health-related research about working life associated with lifestyle issues. Healthy workplaces represent the main focus, followed by physical activity, pain and other issues. The research team has participated in a number of collaborative projects and developed wellness-promoting survey instruments about health and the experience of work, all of which are open to use.

HKR Innovation – participating in development projects

You can also collaborate with our researchers by offering your challenges as the basis for development projects. Our research programmes are constantly generating new methods, knowledge and technologies. By linking our research skills to the practical experience that your organisation has gathered, we can ensure better quality of life for a number of different patient populations. The Kristianstad University and Krinova Open Innovation Arena, which launches and runs groundbreaking health and care projects, represents one path towards that end.
