International Week 2023
We would like to invite you and your colleagues to join us at Kristianstad University for our International Week from 18 September to Thursday 21 September. The aim of the week is to create a forum for international partners, staff and our students to exchange ideas and good practices within the framework of teacher education.
The overall purpose of the International Week is for international partners and staff to discuss issues related to teaching, learning, and the teaching profession, while taking the opportunity to meet our students.
We hope that you and your colleagues would like to contribute to our International Week with your special interests, while taking the opportunity to meet our teachers and partners in different constellations. We also want to give all participants; international partners, our students and staff the opportunity to gain international perspectives on issues linked to the purpose above through lectures, seminars, workshops and more.
When? From Monday 18 September to Thursday 21 September 2023.
Where? Kristianstad University, Faculty of Teacher Education, Kristianstad, Sweden.
What to expect You will have the opportunity to:
- Meet our students – in the form of lectures/seminars/workshops
- Contribute with your areas of interest and research
- Describe your school and education system and learn about others
- Share ideas and good practice in teacher education with staff and other participants
- Participate in workshops with staff and other participants
- Co-teach and/or observe teaching
- School visits
If you have your own suggestions, we will do our best to accommodate them.

The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 50. Partners and ETEN-members will be prioritized as well as participants who contribute towards our students.
Target group Teaching staff/lecturers in the field of Teacher Education and Social Work with a focus on education.
What is included Welcome reception, one lunch, coffee breaks and one dinner. Participation under Erasmus+ teaching/training staff mobility is possible.
