Kristianstad University is a mid-size university in southern Sweden, just an hour away from Denmark and the European mainland. The university was founded in 1977, but we can trace our roots back to 1835 and the start of the teacher's training. Each year we welcome around 14 000 students, including 300 from various countries all over the world.

Kristianstad University offers a broad range of programmes and courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The campus is concentrated in one location, making it easy to access your lecturers.

Collaborative innovative sustainable regional universities

Kristianstad University has teamed up with eight other European universities to establish the "COLOURS" alliance. The primary objectives are to strengthen the European network, increase the global exposure, and encourage mobility within Europe.
