Application and admission non-exchange students
Kristianstad University offers a number of courses and programmes in English for international students. To study at Kristianstad University as a non-exchange student you apply through the Swedish student portal at www.universityadmissions.se where you also find important information about everything concerning the application process.
What is a non exchange student?
A non-exchange student is a student who organizes his/her studies in Sweden independently. The application has to be made during the national application periods.
Tuition fees
Students with citizenship in countries not within the EU/EEA, or Switzerland, are required to pay application and tuition fees for university studies in Sweden.
Admission notice
Students will receive one Notification of Selection Results. This result will be presented in your Notifications at University Admissions. Kristianstad University does normally not send an admission notice.
Admitted students
Once admitted it is important that you to read the information regarding Registration and tuition fees.
Please also check the links below as soon as you have been admitted as some deadlines may occur shortly after you have received your admission notification!
- Find out if you need to apply for a residence permit.
- Make sure you have enough money to cover your living costs and possible tuition fees.
- Book your accommodation.
- Make sure you are properly insured.
