History
History was one of the first subjects at Kristianstad University to obtain rights to award the degree "Fil. mag." (Filosofie magister). The historians in the department have a wide range of research specialties, several of them with an international profile.
We do not have graduate education in history but some of our students have been able to continue to graduate studies through our agreement with Åbo University in Finland, at Lund University and the Linné University in Sweden.
